A MOTORIST swerved to avoid a deer – and drove his wife’s £58,000 Porsche 4x4 into this roadside SWAMP. Luckily he scrambled free without any injuries. But the posh two-year-old Cayenne was a write-off. Nearby residents in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, said the local man – who was travelling alone at the time – received a few stern words from his wife. One said: “He definitely had a lot of explaining to do when he got home!” Similar drainage ditches – which run beside numerous narrow roads in the area – have claimed many vehicles in recent years.
