Talibin say take trash 1.5 miles

RESIDENTS have been told they must drag their wheelie bins 1½ MILES for collection, Four householders in a tiny hamlet must take recycling to a main road. Litherskew is located at the end of a track in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, accessed through three gates. Councillor John Blackie fumed: “Nobody can wheel their bins that sort of distance and back again. It’s bonkers.” Richmond Council will collect from the hamlet if residents pay for an expensive dry stone wall compound for the bins.
