Chez Georges

tonight it was out to Chez Georges on Third Road,
Jeff and Da all ready to go,

myself and Diana,

outside Chez Georges,

it is on the opposite side of the road from X-cite disco and a few hundred meters before it if you are traveling from Pattaya Tai, this shot is looking towards X-cite,

and this is looking towards Pattaya Tai,

complimentary crab with mayonnaise,

smoked salmon for Jeff and myself with sour cream and diced onion,

a huge tuna salad for Diana,

"Cheers!"

Jeff and Da also had a soup,

the smoked salmon came with a shot of vodka, this is what it looks like after missing my plate with the onion and it landed in my vodka shot, it tasted quite nice, although a crunchy vodka did take a bit of getting use to!

Jeff with his smoked salmon and Da with a omelet,

for the main course Diana had chicken and prawns,

Jeff had ostrich steak and Da had peeled shrimp in a cream sauce,

for me sirloin steak and vegetables,

our table,

for desert chocolate mousse for Diana and a cream buele for me,

sorbet ice for Jeff and Da,

our host George, the food and service was excellent, the restaurant was packed with customers, people were still arriving after 9 in the evening, by 9.30 all of the tables were full, so if you want to go there get there early, we brought our own bottle of wine, the bill for the food came to 1,900 per couple, which was considering the amount we had to eat quite resonable for a special night out, well done Chez George!

  1. Hello Mr. Kemp,

I have a suggestion for you... You seem to possess a penchant for dining in a new and unique eatery every week. How about creating a list of all the establishments you've visited, with links to your blog posts. You could determine an overall 'score' for each restaurant by numerically rating each category such as portion, cost, service, quality, ambiance, etc. You could simply update the list weekly with your new experiences. This would be a generous and valuable service to your loyal readers; I am confident this would be greatly appreciated. You may even expect to see an increase in traffic to your blog due to search engine hits if you titled the list 'Pattaya Restaurant Reviews' or something similar.

  2. Dear NYCasual, many thanks for your interest, at the bottom of each blog there is a small section, one says "posted by" the other one is called "labels:" if you click on the label under a restaurant review all of the restaurant reviews will appear, next week as I am not very computor savay I will ask Geff on Friday for his input on how to link restaurants and some sort of ponits system as we go out with our ladies every Friday, best regards, Stan and Diana.
