Micks Jeep performed with flying colours, the oil under it was already there. Preecha is situated in the town of Ban Ampor, if you go past the Ambassador hotel take the right at the next set of traffic lights, then the left fork in the road, it is the second seafood restaurant on the right,
the fresh seafood is stored in tanks like these, there is a huge variety available at the restaurant,
"King" lobster,
rock or slipper lobster,
small clams,
I do not know what these are known as, but they looked pretty!
larger clams,
scallops,
a view in the restaurant looking towards the counter,
there is an open area for smokers, and after that the area where we always try to sit,
it is right next to the sea, Pattaya is in the distance,
from the same position looking towards Satahip,
Mick said it was so strange that for 19 months he and Mas would look at the emails and later our blog page, but now they are finally here,
we started with baby clams in a aniseed type sauce, and then continued,
with steamed prawns,
and shrimp doughnuts,
2 liters of red wine got the afternoon off to a good start!
green steamed mussels,
and curried crab, we also had a large dish of mixed seafood rice, a really nice meal with all of us full to bursting, the total came to 1500 baht, about £7.50 a head,
now on our way home, in Micks Jeep there is this vent which is always referred to as the air conditioning, in this view it is open,
slightly out of focus, but now the vent is closed,
a lot of buses have the engine bay illuminated at night, I guess to show off how clean the engine bay is or so that people see the bus in front of them,
now home, a quick change of clothes and it was off to see Nick and Maureen and Champions new opening, the bar has been closed for the past few days, so Juu has put in new tables with poles on them, in the next few days lights in the table tops will also be installed, the improvements for me have breathed a breath of fresh air into the place, it looks really good now, and with over 30 customers there it looks like it will be popular, looking forward to seeing the lights on Wednesday.
really delicious cooking
