Mercy Center Visit,

this Monday after winning the not smoking wager, with Big Jim and Alf we meet up out side the ice cream store in CareFor to buy food for the kids at the Mercy Center that Steve supported when he was alive, unfortunately Alf could not make it, but his donation did, both guys pledged 10,000 baht each to buy food and supplies for the orphanage, but whilst waiting for Lhen Lhen to arrive the temptation was to much for Diana,
she just had to have an ice cream!
after an hour or so the shopping was done, milk drinks, mosquito lights, noddles, cooking oil, meat, soy sauce, toys, soap powder, you name it! also we bumped in to Doc. Jeff who very kindly volunteered to help load the truck and unload it when we got to the orphanage, left to right Diana, Doc. Jeff, Big Jim and Lhen Lhen,
there was so much some of it had to be put in the truck with Lhen Lhen,
the back of the pickup was filled to bursting,
we arrived at the home thanks to Bill and his truck, now all we had to do was unload it, whilst there a friend of Diana's Honey Mae called in, she lives nearby and wants to volunteer to help out at the home, here we all are Father Fred, I have to admit I do not know who the next lady is, Big Jim, Bill, Lhen Lhen, Doc. Jeff, Diana and Honey Mae,
after unloading all of the foodstuffs it was time to meet the kids,
they were everywhere and all of them having a great time,
Big Jim was their favorite, it must be the Santa Claus look!
but Doc. Jeff was really getting a following, I think he plays with transformer toys, he was the only one here who could put one together!
at the end of the day everyone was so happy to see us and knowing how unfortunate these kids are it puts into perspective the minor things that we worry about, many, many thanks to Big Jim and Alf for their generous donations, it was appreciated by all, visitors are always welcome as are donations if you wish to visit the map is below,
or make a donation their web page is here,
