Not So Many Friends Called Round This Week

but before they did this is a shot of a bulb that has just flowered,
Diana bought a few bulbs about 6 months ago in Soi Bukaow, she planted them and then nothing, well in the start of the rainy season they sprouted and this is the first flower to arrive, a few more are now showing signs of growing so more pictures to follow if they flower, as an aside the bulbs were in the 5 - 15 baht each range, first to arrive was Big Jim, with two types of cheese and many kinds of crackers to eat them with,
then Mr. Tony called in with some Cornish pasties and steak pies from a new shop near the Outlet Mail on Tepprasit, they were 1st class we all enjoyed them a good new find for all of us,
Richard, James and Beth have just returned from the Philippines, Richard had the honour of judging a local beauty contest whilst there, but alas no pictures of the winners,
Mike and Riza were also here, with some more of those delicious sausages we all love so much, we also had pork fillet and some huge chicken legs, french bread and some of the first of this years lychee's for desert,
meanwhile James was downstairs watching Ice Age 1,
Diana and Riza starting to get things sorted out in the kitchen,
Diana and Beth busy with the bar-b-q, I was not sure if the sausages were being cooked or smoked! but in any event they turned out better than I could have ever done,
Riza is preparing some Filipino food called Pancit for the girls,
then the food arrived upstairs,
I forgot to mention there was garlic bread as well,
pasties and steak pie in the foreground,
then after the washing up was done and everybody had left it was time for a cuddle then off to bed, "Bye!"
