Angels The Costumiers Had What I Guess You Would Call A Car Boot Or Garage Sale,

of old clothes at auction house Bonhams, in Knightsbridge, central London, Mel Gibson's naval officer jacket and a woollen waistcoat worn by Edward Fox from the 1984 film The Bounty, sold together for £7,800,
the military tunic, worn by Clint Eastwood (left) in the 1968 film Where Eagles Dare, sold for £9,600, also in military mode the tunic worn by the actor Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder Goes Forth, 1989, sold for 15 times its estimate at £12,000, I have often wondered why the actors did not keep some of the costumes as mementos, but I guess the studios own the costumes, which is a shame as Sir would have been £26,400 better off if he had kept his cape from the 1958 horror film Dracula.
