Congratulations To Geoff And Fe On The Birth Of Baby Samuel,

so for us first thing it was shopping for some fruit,
then down to the hospital near Sattahip,
Fe was on the phone with Samuel by her side, he weighed in at 3.4 kilos,
it was all to much for Samuel, he had a nap, proud dad Geoff,
whilst there Richard and Beth called in, Richard had to go to hospital himself last week, he inadvertently discovered some bare live electric cables, par for the course with house wiring out here!
after wishing all well we made our way out to the Buddha mountain and temples, there is a huge amount of pineapples being planted, perhaps the farmer knows there is going to be a shortage,
pineapples as far as the eye can see, pineapple futures anyone?
the view across the lake,
this is the main temple complex,
at the beginning of the lake there are several smaller temples, also here you can buy fish food to feed the fish in the lake,
we then called in to see Booie, Mr. Tony is in the UK for the next 4 weeks so we just called in to say hi! whilst there I spotted this, you might think it is a shoe cleaner, a scrapper to remover mud from your shoes, well it is a scrapper but it is used for scrapping the flesh from the insides of coconuts,
Booies next door neighbour gave Booie and Diana some fresh lychee's,
Booie is always working in the garden, she has shaded areas for the propagation of plants that then go into the garden when they have become established,
there are plants every where you look,
and Mr. Tony's automatic watering system keeps most of the grass green,
then it was back to 388, Jay and Precil called round, at the moment Jay is thinking of buying a new laptop computer, also Mark and Phil called for a cup of tea and a chat,
after a shave and a shower it was into the truck and over to see Mike and Riza, who was watering the garden, hence the kinky boots!
Riza had prepared a feast, lamb casserole and a chicken curry with jasmine rice, I just could not stop eating, it was so nice!
then on to the deserts, we had brought over a couple of chocolate mousses and sherry trifles, but Riza had beaten us to it, a huge delicious home made custard cream and a Philippine coconut desert, I dread to think of how much weight I have put on! but many thanks to Mike and Riza for the splendid meal,
then on to the serious stuff, two bottles of wine and a game of cribbage! well several games, I guess we stopped playing at about 1 or 2 in the morning,
I have noticed this before, the King, Queen and Jack of spades faces right, as does the Jack of clubs, all the other cards face left, all the Kings have beards and mustache except the King of hearts, the Queen of hearts does not seem to be holding anything in her right hand, the other Queens do, I guess there must be a reason for these differences, but this is the first time I have looked at all of the picture cards together,
the cat has been to the vets a few times, Mike is paying 500 baht a day to have a tumour removed from it and then the after care and wound dressing, the plastic thing round it's neck is to stop it from licking of the antiseptic cream, hopefully all will be well by next week, and then it was time for dreams.
