No Work On The Railway Today,

instead we popped over to Juu's house for a few games of pool, and a few vodka soda's whilst there looking out of the pool room you can look into the outside fish pool, if you look carefully you might be able to make out the shape of one of his two big fish, an Arapaima gigas this one weighs in at about 75 kilos,
then Jac and her friend Keith called in for a couple of beers,
after they left it was off to Theppresit night market to buy our evenings meal, but I took a few pictures of some of the stalls as we walked around,
still quite light and not yet very crowded,
walking toys,
and one stall with a selection of minerals and cut stones,
I do not have a clue what this one is called but it had a rainbow effect about it in the light,
these 3 crystals are iron pyrite, also known as iron sulfide or fools gold,
more sunglasses,
a view across the market,
fresh fruit,
and fried fish,
cool drinks,
and 59 baht shoes,
I remember years ago cabbage patch dolls seemed to be in fashion, I do not know if theses are the same thing but there are loads of them here,
Diana buying tonight's sushi,
and arriving back to meet me at the bar,
whilst we were at the market Mike phoned to invite us round for a drink, Jay and Precil were also there, so for the second time this evening we had a bite to eat, Indian curry, yummy!
and the girls had some Filipino food, we all had a drink and chatted the evening away,
whilst at the table the cat strolled past, still in good health and looking cute, we stayed the night, Mike very kindly driving us back in the morning, then Saturday and hopefully a few friends will be calling round for a drink and a chat.
