Off To Lotus, Why?

to go to Swensen's!
even though it was Monday the motorcycle park was packed,
a surprise of some sort for Diana, 79 baht, there was lots of it,
'Ah!'
for me a vanilla milk shake, 65 baht I seem to remember, I would have preferred a banana one but that is not on the extensive menu of flavours,
a stop off at one of the markets for some fresh fruit,
and broccoli,
and one or two things on a stick,
tonight Diana is making a chicken Masman curry, the packet of sauce in Friendship is only 9 baht, instructions in English and Thai on the back, Diana puts some potatoes and peanuts in it as well, public health warning for UK residents, do not put in peanuts is you have a nut allergy, (I do not want to get sued by UK health and safety!)
all cooked in a wok,
served with rice and very nice it was too,
then feet up to watch a couple of films, first Alien Hunter, not a lot of special effects but still very watchable, similar in many instances to The Thing, but the alien not as menacing,
and a favorite actor of ours Sir Anthony Hopkins, was in the next one Fracture, a court room drama, but unlike many this one was full of twists and turns, a pleasure to watch, after a couple of episodes of New Tricks and it was off to bed.
