Straight On To The Blog Today,

as soon as I have finished I am off for a days fishing with Mick, as soon as we had finished breakfast we went to the 3BB shop to pay our Internet bill, I must say it is so fast compared to the Loxinfo satellite we had before - and half the price!
it had been raining earlier in the morning but as we went to leave Thephrasit Road became deserted of traffic,
all of the locals that were buying food looked to see who it was, but the convoy of police cars and the V.I.P. rushed past so fast we did not know who it was,
then to a wet and fairly empty car park at Tesco Lotus,
we made our way to the far end, Mr Tony had mentioned a new live fish stall had opened there,
we went past the Tesco fountain display,
past the car accessory stall,
to these three stalls selling fish and aquariums,
some of the aquariums in the first stall,
the middle stall,
'I want that one!'
there was also a water feature outside,
of course a visit to Swensens was made, a Japanese green tea flavor for Diana,
and vanilla milk shake for me, for some reason they never have banana flavour in stock, so vanilla for me,
Mark called in to return a DVD he had borrowed, Great Railway Journeys of the World, the first series, we both love trains, for me the one journey I would really like to go on was the Palace on Wheels in India, the full trip, but way out of our budget!
we also watched Mark Williams, On The Rails, again if you are into trains a great DVD, if not it is not so good!
then time to hit the town,
Diana as lovely as ever,
we arrived in the street at about 8.15 so we decided to have a walk along it towards Bali Hai pier, past the big tree that has now become a sort of shrine,
the street was quiet,
I mean really quiet!
as were the street side bars, I guess they must attract the late crowd,
then to The Cavern, formally Sisterz, the new owners have spent a fortune inside, I heard a rumour of double figure millions of baht, it look very nice indeed just as its name suggested it looks like a giant cave inside, now the down side the music was for us and the 8 or so other guys all of my age terrible, even Diana said it was unpleasant, not to mention way too loud, we ordered another drink then mercifully the music stopped, the DJ started to talking to the staff in Thai, I made out a few words, he was having a staff meeting with the service girls after finishing our second drink 10 minutes or more latter he was still in full flow, so we paid and left,
next we decided to take a walk along to the other end of Walking Street, the neon signs look so nice, then to Champions, we did not go into Sweethearts as Grieg had left last week, it was him we went into see rather than the bar, so in to Champions where we were joined by Big Jim, Brian, Eric and Channel, Joe and few others, then after midnight home to 388,
but first some Thai food for Diana,
and some watermelon,
I am not sure what it is but Diana tells me it was delicious,
as we arrived first DVD on was Per un pugno di dollari or as it is better known in the UK and USA A Fistful of Dollars, the blurb says it all, this short cigar belongs to a man with no name, this gun belongs to a man with no name, this poncho belongs to a man with no name, He's going to trigger a whole new style in adventure, then to round off the evening a Midsomer Murders, the Green Man which is set in Midsomer Malham where local businessman Timothy Webster (Tim Woodward) has organised & partly funded a restoration project to clean up the Midsomer canal, however while working on it several volunteers become trapped when part of the canal tunnels roof collapses, no one is hurt & they are rescued relatively quickly but the cave-in has revealed a chamber where the bones of several people are found, then off to bed.
