naturally as we were in CarreFore Diana just had to have a few cakes, then back to Loxinfo, lunch over, so that bill was paid,
then to a very quiet Friendship, a quick stock up of food and some drinks, also the start of my diet, so salad for this evenings meal,
later in the afternoon Jay and Precil called in for a tea and a chat, also they dropped off some scary movies for Diana, Jay borrowed a few of my documentaries,
then time to start my diet, tuna salad, trouble is it works out quite expensive, the mayonnaise is 90 baht a jar, it appears Diana uses half a jar per salad, still, tasted nice though,
then we settled down to watch Judge John Deed, series 6, now this is strange, I have mentioned this once before about series 5, the BBC website gives full information, but states, Please Note: 'Due to a commitment given by the BBC it is not possible to release episodes 5 and 6 of Series Five' but it appears although these two series have been shown in the UK the sale of series 5 & 6 on DVD is banned in the UK, these two come from Holland, not a great problem, but all of the subtitles are in Dutch!
then The Brief, another DVD series that Steve so kindly brought over for us from the UK, and very enjoyable it was to, unfortunately there only appears to be two in the series, but very enjoyable if you like Judge John Deed as we do,
then to round of the evening two from The Return of Sherlock Holmes, The Abbey Grange, followed by The Man with the Twisted Lip, both so good, then off to bed.
Uh Stan... eating a meal that contains half a jar of mayonnaise is a diet... but I'm not sure it is a diet that will result in much weight loss!
ReplyDeleteDear Jil, I guessed that, but it soooo nice with the mayonnaise, still it is that thought that counts! best regards, Stan and Diana.
