We Decided To Have Breakfast By The Pool At PRS Mansions Today,

although the weather looked a bit overcast we hopped it would brighten up,
the same two new sun loungers under the tree were still there,
the pool still looked so clean, but the sky was looking a bit ominous,
breakfast is served, spicy chicken, rice and an egg with coke for Diana, club sandwich and a coffee for me, including the pool charge 250 baht, we stayed there for a few hours reading our books when eventually the rains came, so off to Friendship for a bit of shopping then to the fruit stalls for some thing to nibble on in the evening,
by now it was plastic mac time,
it rained on and off for the rest of the afternoon, but at 6.00 or so it stopped, so it was off to the soup stall,
the ground here had almost dried up,
we also stopped for some fresh water melon,
then home for the evening, tonight we started watching some of The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, series one, each episode was about 1 hour long, they were so good we watched 4 or 5 of them, two in particular were different in that the rival was totally unscrupulous when it came to his clients, stealing everything from them, also asking for and receiving outrageous amounts for services rendered,
to round off the evening Elizabeth, a film of the early years of the reign of Elizabeth I of England and her difficult task of learning what is necessary to be a monarch, how difficult? according to the tag line, declared illegitimate aged 3, tried for treason aged 21, crowned Queen aged 25, a great film with no 'slow' parts in it, then for us, off to bed.
