Yesterday And Last Night There Thankfully Was No Rain,

hopefully the end of the rainy season is in sight, so first thing along to the post office, Kirit and friends have returned to the UK, so I have put the holiday snaps on a couple of CD's and posted them, I hope you guys had a good holiday and a safe trip back, see you all when we come to the UK next year,
of course being so near to Jomtien Beach road we just had to drop into the Surf Kitchen,
again just by the water feature there was this nice touch, a bowl of fresh flowers and lotus blossoms floating in it,
for our late breakfast/early lunch, for Diana spaghetti bolognese and for myself prawn cocktail, with two ice coffees a great way to start the day,
also at the back/side of the restaurant there is a massage and spa if you want one,
then back home, feet up to watch a couple of DVD's, firstly a real boys own adventure, Journey to the Center of the Earth, two things I remember about this, one I read the book by Jules Gabriel Verne and two I saw the original in the cinema when I was just 9 years or there abouts old, both for me were fun to watch both now and then, basically the story is in the title of the film, Prof. Lindenbrook leads his intrepid party on an expedition to the centre of the earth, via a volcano in Iceland, encountering all manner of prehistoric monsters and life-threatening hazards on the way,
next a double feature, True Lies and Eraser, in the first a secret agent learns of his wife's extra-marital affair, he pursues her and uses his intelligence resources in a job he kept secret from her, as an aside it has a great piece of music in it Por Una Cabeza a tango, also used in Schindler's List, in the second, Eraser, John Kruger is a U.S. marshal who is assigned to protect Lee Cullen, who works for the Cyrez Corporation, a company that manufactures top secret weapons for the military, Lee knows about a scam going on within Cyrez Corporation, then look out the bad guys!
back to the Bond box with Moonraker, notable as I think it is the only Bond movie where Jaws speaks, I wonder if he was paid extra? to the plot, a spaceship traveling through space is mysteriously hi-jacked and Bond must work quickly to find out who was behind it all,
then to Agatha Christie's Poirot, we watched two, Murder in the Mews and The Adventure of Johnnie Waverly, both a pleasure to watch and a bit easier to solve than Midsomer Murders, (I still guessed incorrectly how ever, unlike Diana!), during the day Mark along with Juu and his wife called in for some tea and a chat, well also a couple of beers, then it was time for bed.
