Health & Safety Strike Again,

in a time when 'road rage' seems to be in the news, it for me is nice to see some one say thank you for giving way or stopping, Phil Boreham in Hull I guess feels the same, he made a small hand held sign to thank motorist who stopped at his crossing where he works, not so Hull health & safety officer Helen Rooms, operational transport manager at Hull City Council, she said he should nod his head, "it is illegal for crossing patrol staff to carry any signs other than their lollipop, as they can cause a distraction for motorists and we have to ensure the safety of road users and children crossing the road," big brother or I should say sister has spoken!
