It Was Going To Be A Quiet Day,

so after starting to relabel my stamps I decided to finish the job,
the first attempt,
black on white labels, just did not look 'right',
so now the same page white on black,
I was much happier with the results, so as Diana cleaned the house I made new labels for all of the stamps that are waiting for me in the UK,
then our evening meal, followed by fresh Japanese apples and a chocolate or two!
then feet up for the last serial killers, Richard Speck, he murdered 8 nurses at one address, although murdered may in this case an understatement, slaughtered being a better way to describe the killings, watching him being interviewed was horrifying indeed, not one shred of humanity, remorse or regret,
Diana then said she wanted to watch a action movie, so from the same team in The Fugitive we watched U. S. Marshals, when a prisoner transport plane carrying Deputy Sam Gerard as an escort crashes, one prisoner, Mark Sheridan helps him rescue some trapped prisoners and then escapes himself, Gerard and his crack team of U.S. Marshals start their pursuit, but the simple fugitive situation soon gets more complicated when Gerard learns that Sheridan is no mere criminal and that one his team has another completely different agenda than capture in mind,
then into another persons mind, literally, Being John Malkovich, Craig, a puppeteer, takes a filing job in a low-ceilinged office in Manhattan, although married to the slightly askew Lotte, he hits on a colleague, the sexually frank Maxine, she's bored but snaps awake when he finds a portal leading inside John Malkovich: for 15 minutes you see, hear, and feel whatever JM is doing, for me there were no 'highs' or 'lows' in the movie it was just so riveting to see what was going to happen next,

followed by a couple of Poirot, first How Does Your Garden Grow? Hercule Poirot receives a letter from a rich old lady (whom he had bumped into earlier at a flower show), in which she claims that her life may be in danger, when he arrives at her house, he finds her dead - and soon enough, it is discovered that she had been poisoned, Inspector Japp suspects the old woman's Russian companion, but Poirot is not so sure, then to steam trains in The Plymouth Express,

Poirot investigates the murder of Florence Carrington while traveling on the express train to Plymouth, Her father, mining entrepreneur Gordon Halliday, will spare no expense to have the crime solved, She had recently been approached by her estranged husband Rupert, asking for money and was seen having lunch with a one-time suitor, Armand de la Rochefort, of whom her father disapproves, but is a third man involved? then off to bed.
