Last Night, Or I Should Say Early Morning,

I bought another couple of stamps, the first a pair of silver jubilee 1910/1935 unmounted mint halfpenny stamps, my winning bid? £1.29, the second bargain of the day this King George 1840/1940 unmounted mint control stamp (called control as the cylinder number G40 is shown in the margin), I guess this stamp is one of two things, unpopular or there are millions surviving from the 1940's, I paid just 35 pence!
we spent the day playing with our new toy, Monopoly, then as evening fell Mark called by and was followed Eric and Chenel, Mark decided to make a move for home,
we made our way to Tigglebitties, sorry about the spelling!, a party was in full swing for Halloween, Chenel trying one of the waitresses hats,
we called in to meet up with Fred, who showed us his by now world famous clock, each hour has the name of one of his wives, I do not think I know of anyone who has been married that many times!
the bar from the outside,
next we made a move to the Captains Corner, it is on the road that runs from Pattaya to Jomtien,
there is a full menu or a 395 baht I think, all you can eat option, it is starter and bar-b-q, although that does not do it justice, there are steaks, seafood, sausages, you name it!
the outside undercover area,
looking towards the bar,
Fred saying Hi to the chef, after finishing the starters, just help yourself to the dishes of your choice, they are cooked to your liking and brought to your table,
the Captains Corner also has residents, so a pool is provided,
whilst there the bug guy called in to the bar opposite, you may have seen his mobile stall around town, I think he makes more money from having his picture taken with you than selling bugs! we had a lovely meal, many thanks to Eric and Chenel, we went our separate ways taking Fred home first, then to high finance - Monopoly! we played till the early hours with occasional breaks to see how my bidding for stamps was doing, then off to bed.
