Do Not Mess With Fish 121,

and you though fish were fun! in Kamakura, near Tokyo Japan a aquatic store has found a novel way of keeping it's Christmas lights alight, use an electric eel! Kamakura's Enoshima Aquarium has featured the electric eel for five years in an effort to encourage ecological sensitivity, strange that I had never heard of it before, one of the staff said, "each time the eel moves, two aluminium panels gather enough electricity to light up the 2-metre (6 ft 6 in) tall tree, decked out in white, in glowing intermittent flashes," now if only it could power the air conditioning in summer!
