If It Was Not Dr. Crippen's Wife In The Cellar,

who was it? apparently a man, but that is about all the information forensic scientists can confirm, also that the body having been DNA tested is not related to any of Mrs Crippen’s living relatives and found no match, police investigating the disappearance of Mrs Crippen had discovered a headless corpse in the coal cellar of her Holloway home, Dr Crippen had already fled with his secretary Ethel Le Neve, and they were on a ship travelling to Canada when they were recognised by the captain,

Dr. Crippen was also famous for being the first criminal to be caught by wireless, on the westward bound SS Montrose, the captain asked his Marconi operator to send a brief message to England, the message read,

"Have strong suspicions that Crippen London cellar murderer and accomplice are among saloon passengers, accomplice dressed as a boy, voice manner and build undoubtedly a girl."

a detective from Scotland Yard boarded a faster ship and arrested him before SS Montrose docked in Montreal, but back to the original question, whose is the body and did Dr. Crippen kill him? I guess we will never know.
