Straight On To The Blog Today,

as we have a busy lazy day planned, we stayed in yesterday, but decided to have a romantic dinner for two, starter for myself was scallops rolled in bacon, 'Cheers!',
followed by Diana's excellent fish and chips, Diana elected for an English breakfast! and delicious it all was too!
one of the good things about sitting here is that it gives us a chance to look at the other aquarium,
the fish are always active and getting to be a nice size now, also as they get older their colours intensify,
we spent a part of the day watching Around the World in 80 Gardens, this time the first part of the DVD took us to The Mediterranean, travailing through the gardens from the Renaisance gardens of Villa d’Este to Aribic gardens in Morocco and finishing at the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, the second part moving to another continent Africa, to the South first to Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens, later after visiting other gardens arriving at the Drakensberg Mountains, great series, we are looking forward to watching the final DVD,
after our evening meal Unforgiven, great Western, I love the description given to Will Munny in the opening credits, 'a violent man of intemperate disposition', voted one of the best 10 Western movies in the world,
then we open the new box set of A Touch of Frost, Care and Protection was the first in the series, DI Jack Frost investigates the disappearance of Tracy Uphill who vanished when her mother was late arriving at the community centre to collect her, in the course of searching for the girl, they uncover human remains that have been buried for 30 years or more, followed by Not with Kindness, Frost investigates the murder of a 15 year old girl who disappeared while completing her newspaper round, He also has to look into vandalism at a local churchyard as Supt. Mullett fears it might be the work of satanists but it is also where the 15 year old's body is found, each episode is about one and a half hours long, the bad news is that we both did not work out who done it! but hopefully there will be some easier to solve ones later in the series, then off to bed.
