Sunday,

so out for Sunday lunch,
this week to the Punch & Judy near the Eden Hotel on the opposite side of the road,
'Cheers!' from me with a starter of a prawn cocktail, naturally with a medicinal glass of red wine,
then our main courses,
the 3 meat roast for Diana and lamb for myself, 280 baht for Diana's 3 meat roast, 310 baht for my lamb, both were absolutely delicious,
then to round off the meal, a banoffee pie,
having tried one before and knowing how nice they are I just could not wait!
but Diana got there first and finished it off,
we then put our feet up and watched movies in the late afternoon and evening, first Quatermass II, not as scary as Quatermass and the Pit, but I still remember hiding behind the sofa when the music started! but back to Quatermass II, Quatermass stumbles across a mysterious secret Government installation at which is supposedly developing synthetic food, but is in fact something quite different and frightening, as an aside the place used as the ruined village actually exists, it is the town of Winnerden Flats at Ivinghoe Beacon (along The Ridgeway), near the village of Ivinghoe in Buckinghamshire, and is owned and protected by the National Trust,
then two from Frost, Fun Times for Swingers, is the story of a woman who throws herself to her death and a man is later found viciously murdered in his apartment, could there be a connection? that's not the only problem for Jack Frost, when he's called to the case of break-ins and attacks at the local cricket club....sport fans may notice a famous former football player in this episode, but as I am not a sports fan I did not! followed by Deep Waters, when a beautiful young college student is injured in a fall on campus, Frost finds it difficult to locate a suspect, in his quest to discover the truth, he is reunited with an old friend and colleague, while also having to deal with a shopkeeper's murder.... but gathering enough evidence to charge the alleged suspects is going to be much harder than he thinks, great episode with a few twists and turns,
set in the 1960's a cleaner and a female executive plan to rob a few diamonds from the firm they both work for, but things go a little array when over night two tons of diamonds go missing and some one gets cold feet, great fun working out how it was done, the story is told by the lady executive who spends her life doing good deeds in the process, Flawless was a thoroughly watchable movie, we even manged to work out how it was done! then off to bed.
