First Thing Shopping Today,

as we had a lot of shopping to do we decided to go to Tesco's,
but as we walked outside one of Diana's hibiscus decided to show off with three flowers,
they were huge, it is not a trick shot, the flowers were really 6 inches or so across, but on to Tesco, in case you do not know which one it is on the Sumkivitt Road next to The Outlet Mall at the junction of Thepprisitt Road, I still can not believe what happened next, potatoes, not in stock, cauliflower, 'no hath', ginger, sold out, chicken thighs, only two in stock, more tomorrow, (we wanted 2 kilos), frozen peas, none on the shelf, fresh lemons none in stock, it was as if some one from Tesco's had looked over our shoulder whilst we made our shopping list and deleted from the store everything we wanted! I could understand the shortages if it was late at night, but this was 12.35 in the afternoon!
so next stop, where we should have gone in the first place Friendship, in case you have not seen it before there is a guy that drives this bike around playing music as loud as his stereo will allow,
it looks a lot better at night when it has all of it's lights on,
shopping completed and ready to go,
next stop the market for some tomatoes, (Tesco's did have those but at 155 bath a kilo we declined), Friendship was a bit better at 75 baht, but at the market 70 baht for 2 kilos, crikey that's a bit sad, me talking about food prices, I am beginning to sound like a housewife! whilst there I noticed the sky was starting to cloud over,
mission accomplished!
all ready for tomorrows cooking fest,
in the afternoon Mark and Anchisa called in for a tea and a chat,
then we were off to the night market, this young chap getting ready for Halloween a bit early!
the sky still looking a bit ominous,
opposite the bar a clothes stall this week,
the pet section,
one more shoe shop selling the 'claw' crocs,
there must be a lot of people about with 4 toes if these shoes are to be believed!
more money boxes,
Brian called in for a drink along with his wife Sa and two of his nephews,
'Cheers! from us, notice my newly purchased Songkran shirt, a bargain at 59 baht,
Sai Jai was also here tonight, unfortunately for all of us it started to rain,
next the girls went on a shopping expedition,
then who should appear? Anchisa, Riza and Mabel, Mike had dropped them off at the market,
all to soon it was time for the girls to leave, so it was goodnight from Brian and myself,
having just today bought my new shirt, thinking I had the only one Joe walked past with the same shirt, it just goes to show what good taste we both have!
Mike then called round with the girls, they chatted,
whilst Mike and myself got on with the serious stuff - we had a drink! then time to say our good nights and we were off to bed.
