Whilst Preparing Our Food On Saturday,

it was remarked how good our kitchen scissors were, so first thing Sunday morning and we were off to Tuc Com where we bought them, for four pairs, but no luck they had sold out, well it seems par for the course that anything we want to buy lately has been sold out, so on to Friendship, lots of scissors but not the ones that we had, we will try again on Monday in some of the other stores,

then to the Robin's Nest for our Sunday lunch, 'Cheers!' from me, I went for the 199 baht carvery whilst Diana had chicken fried rice,

included in the carvery is an ice cream dessert, so we shared that for dessert, we both remarked on how few people were here, just 8 or so people eating, a huge change from a couple of months ago when if you arrived after 1.30 or so there was not a spare seat,

outside I noticed this smart looking bike, some one has spent a small fortune on it, even down to new wheels,

the exhaust has had a complete make over, gas rear suspension units as well,

then home feet up and like many Sundays, on with the movies! first one the latest from Lake Placid, Part Three, in case you have not seen it the special effects are not as good as the first or second, perhaps trying to save a few dollars? the script has more holes in it than a fish net, but still fun to watch, strange thing is that there really is a Lake Placid in the USA, it is sheltered among the Adirondack Mountains, as the blurb says 'Lake Placid offers unrivaled thrills and unforgettable adventures for all who visit,' hopefully now without the crocodiles!

having watched all of series one it was on to Open All Hours series 2, so many great throw away lines, a real delight to watch,

next the Hammer box reviled Rasputin: The Mad Monk, the movie chronicles the events of history's "man of mystery," his rise to power and eventual assassination are depicted in an attempt to explain his extraordinary power and influence,

then a really strange, bizarre, fantasy world film, Mirrormask is a world of opposites, the main character is in a circus and wants to run away to a real life, but such is not to be the case, as she finds herself on a strange journey into the Dark Lands, a fantastic landscape filled with giants, Monkeybirds and dangerous sphinxes, She must find the fabled MirrorMask in order to save the kingdom and get back home, superbly filmed fantasy aimed at kids but still enjoyable for adults,

to round off the evening New Tricks, The Last Laugh, The team meets a girl called Jo, who is heckling Right Wing comedian Ray Harris, Her aunt Sarah Jones and Sarah's partner Daniel disappeared twenty-five years earlier whilst engaged in a campaign against Ray's sexist and racist routines, Ricky Hanson is charged with murder - and, at long last, there is closure for Jack too, then off to bed.
