I Awoke To A Huge Rain Storm,

not much thunder,
but it was raining with a vengeance,
just as I thought it could not get any worse, it did!
the trouble was that it left the truck in a bit of a mess, I guess the rain brought down a lot of dust in the air,
but in any event a truck wash was in order,
wait a minute, there is some thing wrong here, I am washing the truck and Diana is taking the pictures, how did that happen?
the good news is that we did not have to top up the water in Diana's miniature garden, today we are staying in as it is the last day of Songkran, every one getting wet when you travel, we have a couple of letters to post but will not go out till the madness has finished on Wednesday,

so feet up for a day of DVD's, first from the Hammer box, Frankenstein Created Woman, a dead and frozen Baron Frankenstein is re-animated by his colleague Dr. Hertz proving to him that the soul does not leave the body on the instant of death, so all they now need is a body to try it on! I have to say this series we have really enjoyed, today, History's Mysteries: The Hunt for Jack the Ripper, new theories abound,

by a strange quirk of fate today it was reported that a new document has revealed that Jack the Ripper's horrific killing spree was probed by FBI experts in the 1980s, a secret FBI dossier, which has just been declassified and made public, reveals how one of its acclaimed secret agents - and a pioneer of criminal profiling - attempted in vain to unmask the serial killer, produced in 1988, a seven-page analysis of the case reveals how special agent John Douglas, who had a reputation for snaring killers, built up a detailed physical and psychological profile of the Ripper, I wonder if we will ever know for sure who the Ripper really was?

from the same series, History's Mysteries - Bigfoot And Other Monsters, Bigfoot, and the Abominable Snowman are celebrated examples, but some lesser known examples of monsters are explored,
then back to Last of the Summer Wine, yet again I marvel at how narrow sighted the BBC or their agents must be, yet again another series with no subtitles for the hard of hearing, great series but it is so much more enjoyable for Diana if she has subtitles to read as well, just think also the number of people in the UK that would pick this product up then put it down again because they are deaf and can not lip read!
but at least there are subtitles on Open All Hours, regrettably we have reached the last episode, as far as I know series 4 was the last produced, but we both laughed so much at almost all of them,
to round off the evening, Ed Wood, the mostly true story of the legendary director of awful movies and his strange group of friends and actors, thoroughly enjoyable, if Ed Wood was as nice a character as Johnny Depp portrays him to be it is a shame that he was not more successful at his craft, then for us off to bed.
