Sunday Has Come Round Already!

where do the days go? we snuck round the back roads trying to avoid the water throwers and made it to the Punch & Judy safe and sound,
Jamie was back from the UK, he arrived back just as I was leaving for the Philippines, so we had a quick chat to sat Hi, no prizes for guessing what we ordered, roast lamb all round!
'Cheers!', from me,
then to follow a shared banoffee pie, we both have to watch our waistlines!
then in a good ole' Sunday afternoon tradition, feet up and watch some DVD's, this was from a company whose web page is www.goentertain.com but before you go there the page is down, but it was a good background to the story of Dracula and how the image of him came about,
for some light entertainment we finished the last couple of Open All Hours series 3, great entertainment, Diana really enjoys this series,
then another from the Hammer box, The Viking Queen, to honour her father's dying wish, Queen Salina shares the rule of Icena with Justinian, a fair and just Roman, this displeases the bloodthirsty Druids on one side and the more hard-line Romans on the other, leaving the historical mistakes to one side one has to ask, why? why on earth was this non story of a film ever made?
not that we needed a laugh after so many in the previous film! Police Squad was up next, only 6 episodes were aired, but with humor that still holds up nearly 30 years later, the series was halted and three feature films were made on the success of the first 6 30 minute shows, we really liked the dialogue when a sectary shot a guy named Bill Twice, once,
Dreben 'so you shot twice?'
secretary 'no once'
Dreben 'so you shot once?'
secretary 'no I shot twice',
Dreben 'so you shot once twice and twice twice?'
secretary 'no I shot twice once,'
Dreben 'I understand!',
to round the evening off one more from Cirque du Soleil, this one entitled, Nouvelle Expérience again stunning performances from all concerned, then for us off to bed.
