so I meet him for breakfast,
as the Punch & Judy was near to him it was there we went,
the sandwich came complete with salad,
next stop East Coast Choppers, on Phil's latest outing on one of his Harley's it developed a problem and had to be trucked back to the repair shop, it is based at the bottom of the hill opposite Papa David's on the way to Jomtien,
I took the opportunity of taking a few snaps of some of the bikes, a new one for me a belt driven BMW 650 cc. normally BMW bikes are shaft driven,
now here's a nice one a Ducati 916,
a German Harley the V-Rod, this one is a bit slower than Phil's as it does not have a super charger fitted to it,
a Harley custom,
a silver/black V-Rod,
work in progress,
the business bit of the bike,
Phil's bike repaired and ready to go,
it has mini gun silencers that rotate when the bike is fired up,
then time for the off and on our way home,
for me it was a water change for the aquariums,
about a 30% water change to keep the fish happy,
next job for the day was to put up the Christmas lights,
and put a few around the tree,
easier said than done as the needles were more than a little sharp,
the after our evening meal it was upstairs to watch the lunar eclipse,
we settled in at the observatory,
any minute now,
then the show began,
the shadow crept across the surface,
half way,
three quarters of the moon gone,
almost there,
and the darken moon,
by now we had made our way downstairs as some telepone and elecrical cables were in the way of the view,
a not very good picture of our Christmas lights,
the final act as the moon is coming out of shadow,
the last DVDs in the series disc 7 & 8 of Monsterquest, the team set out to find how and why Great White shark attacks have increased, all they manged to do was to demonise the Great White and come to the same conclusion they could have read in any number of books and saved a fortune, more people are in the water, the great white is now protected so their numbers are on the increase, mix both and a few other factors in and hey presto more attacks on people! I will not comment on the hunt for the Abominable Snowman as it was just too silly for words,
followed by another couple of episodes from Midsomer Murders, The Silent Land being first, unpopular village librarian Gerald Ebbs is found murdered in a nearby graveyard, of which he was voluntary caretaker, which is a relief to Barnaby's wife, Joyce, as she thought she had hit some one in her car, Joyce joins a ghost walk which explores the sanatorium, a second victim is claimed, enabling Barnaby to discover how his wife believed she had disturbed the silent land, next and last for us tonight was Master Class, a gifted young pianist witness a suicide by drowning but police can not find the body, did it really happen? then for us off to bed.
Stan & Diana,
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the lunar eclipse. I couldn't see it here because it was too cloudy although from England it would only have been a partial eclipse.
You look like you're having fun. Everytthing is good here in England although our lovely government and EU government are heading for an economic collapse and another war with Iran.
All the best - Alan
Hi Alan,
ReplyDeleteshame you could not see the eclipse, great excuse for going outside to have a drink or three! I must admit I do not follow the antics of our government too closely, they all seem a little short in the commonsense department, I just feel so sorry for those that are involved in an unwinnable war that our leaders send to meet their fate, but again world politics are way beyond me, as you can see from the blog, we keep to the simple life! best regards, Stan and Diana.
