Do Not Mess With Fish 160,

and you thought fish were fun!

this one was for Andy O'Connor, 20 when fishing at Wykeham Lakes near Scarborough, East Yorks when the fish he caught was found to equal a record weight set in England by a CF Gifford at Brewood, Staffs, who landed a 46lb pike in 1822, Andy said: 'as soon as I got a feel of it I knew it was a big one but when it came towards the net I saw just how big it was and nerves nearly got the better of me', the record has been equalled, so hopefully if Andy is lucky enough to catch it again next year and the fish (nicknamed the Wykeham Whacker) gains a bit of weight the record will be broken, you never know it could in a years time be a British record, beating the one set in Wales, set by angler Roy Lewis, whose 46lb 13oz pike in Llandegfedd, Wales, in 1992 it still stands today.
