I Slept In Today,

and woke with a bit of a hangover,

 so straight on with today's post, we had a quiet day, but in the afternoon Nick and Maureen called over, it was a double celebration,

 both Maureen's and Diana's birthday, so we were out for a meal,

 Maureen opened her present from us, a couple of lipsticks,

 then the Secrets taxi arrived,  

 we were off to China Garden,

 a few prawn crackers first, then starters,

 along with some honey roasted spare ribs,

 the starters consisted of prawns with sesame seeds on toast, spare ribs, chicken satay and spring rolls,

 we followed that with Peking duck and pancakes,

 'Cheers!', from Nick and myself,

 then the main courses arrived,

 sweet and sour pork, prawns with bean sprouts, chicken and black bean sauce and chicken chowmein , after a lovely meal we made a move back to 388,

 during the day Nick and Maureen had prepared a lime meringue, 

 which was our dessert, delicious it was too,

 then it was time for the evenings entertainment, Monopoly,

  

 which Maureen won,

 with loads of houses, hotels and cash!

so her name went on the trophy for this game, we watched a couple of music DVDs, then it was late, many thanks to Nick and Maureen for a lovely meal and a Happy birthday to Maureen, then for us we were all of to bed.
