Singapore's Garden By The Bay,
will soon be open,
the super sized trees that dwarf the area are almost complete, fitted with solar panels, hanging gardens and rainwater catches, the trees will be used to display plants from across the globe, I have mentioned the gardens before, the £350million development in the city's Marina Bay area started some time ago, when finished the park will house a cluster of green conservatories and will also become home to the Singapore Garden Festival, no mention in the article refering to the new public aquarium, but the last time we were in Singapore the taxi driver commented that the new aquarium will be 10 times bigger than the old one, now that I would like to see!
so as I type this only 16 days 18 hours to go before the grand opening, so book your tickets soon if you want to see what has been billed as the plan to make Singapore the 'botanical capital of the world'.
