One Of The Few To Survive,

perhaps the world's oldest Morris Minor,

built in Oxford in 1928 it had been left to rust in a Scottish barn for 35 years, the four seater car has a 847cc engine, back in 1973 Jock MacKay bought the rusty car for £270, 10 years later it finally took to the road again, Jock, from the village of Scrabster, northern Scotland, said: 'even back in the early 1970s £270 was a really good price - but it was totally unroadworthy and it needed a lot of work', the good news is that he also uses the car, he said, 'my greatest journey was a 1,200-mile round trip from John O' Groats to Land's End, it was a bumpy trip that took 12 days in total - after I was so sore I had to go for a hot bath,' great little car from our motoring past, I hope many more are found, restored and used again.
