Mark called round for a coffee and a chat,
whilst he was there we had a phone call from HomeWorks our amplifier/receiver had been repaired by Onkyo and had been return so could I call in sign some paper work so that they could call in to plug it all in, so Mark left and off we went, as we were out we said we would do a small bit of shopping so wait for a while before coming round, just as we were getting on our bike with the shopping the technicians called to say they were at the house already!
all seemed well with the repaired unit, we now even have satellite television sound in 5.1 when the signal is broadcast in that format, after they had left we had our evening meal then out on the town,
walking past the V.C. Hotel it appears to be having a major restoration, all of the downstairs has been pulled out, looking at the side of the building no rooms were lit so not only must it be costing a fortune the owners are also not receiving any income, so I am guessing work will be finished soon,
we made our way down Soi Diamond, stopping for a couple at Super Girls and the Sea, before making our way to Walking Street,
next stop the Iron Club, for a couple, then on to Champions where we meet up with Brian and Sa along with Don, naturally we all had a great time putting the world to rights, then as the midnight hour approached we made our way home
but we bumped into a friend on the way back in one of the Lucky Star bars so had a couple for the road there,
the bar was the one nearest to Walking Street, so it was fun watching people walk, or in some cases stagger by, then home to 388 and we were off to bed.
