Another One Of Those 'Good Luck' Stories,

I like so much,

although the original owner had sadly died I guess her heirs will receive the proceeds from the sale, from this vase that was found by auctioneers during a routine valuation of its late owner’s property, this Lalique glass vase, numbered one of four, was made in 1922 by French glassmaker Rene Lalique and was given an early estimate of £30,000, Steven Moore, from the salesroom at Newcastle-based auctioneers Anderson and Garland, said, 'when I had a proper look I thought, ‘Gosh’ this is the creme de la creme of Lalique,' the vase found in Morpeth, Northumberland, and called Deux Figures Femmes Aillee featured two female figures spreading their wings around it, well it appears the estimate was a bit low, a relative somewhere will soon know that the vase went for a price of £280,000, some one is going to be very lucky today!
