Things Have Come On A Bit,

since our last visit to Singapore,

the man-made supertrees stretching 50 metres into the sky, are fitted with solar panels, hanging gardens and rainwater catches and display plants from across the globe, they form the stunning centre piece of a massive £350million development in the city's Marina Bay area called Gardens By The Bay Park, the lights are now on and visitors can now walk around the trees via an aerial walkway, dubbed the OCBC Skyway, the trees themselves are in a vast green space, spread across 250 acres, which was created in the area designed to become the 'botanical capital of the world',

I am also guessing that the aquarium that looked like this in May when we were there is now nearly finished, the one there as we speak was impressive enough, but our taxi driver told us that the new one was going to be 10 times bigger!
