the same root canal still seems to be not quite 100%,

 Dr. Chanis who's surgery is opposite Friendship, to the left of the central entrance to Soi Bukaow market next to the 7-11,

 there are few surgery's along this part of Pattaya Tai, but although this latest treatment is taking a time I have to say I have to say all other procedures I have had here have been first rate,

 next stop the watch shop also on Pattaya Tai,

 a few friends and myself have used this shop before and found the service to be good, it is on the same side of the road as Friendship, but nearer the school and temple complex, as a guide this is the view looking towards Third Road,

 and opposite the shop, it is just before the fresh fruit and vegetable stalls on Pattaya Tai,

 the reason for my visit was that Steve & Kai had very kindly on our visit to the UK given Diana a watch, it now needed a new b
battery, just 80 baht and I was on my way,

 we watched a few shows during the day, then after our evening meal we settled down to a few films,

first The Prestige, we had seen it before but for me it is a great film, the plot is that Robert and Alfred are rival magicians, when Alfred performs the ultimate magic trick, Robert tries desperately to find out the secret to the trick, in a small role David Bowie plays Nikola Tesla, who we have much to thank for his discovery of AC electricity, as one person put it "The genius who lit the world" unlike the other electrical guy Edison, who tried to get the world dimly lit with DC current, also of note in the film is that Tesla did in fact stay at Colorado Springs, from 1899 to 1900 where he built a laboratory with a 200 kW transmitter, great film mixing fantasy with fiction and fact,

another part to the film that was fact was that Chung Ling Soo who Robert and Alfred went to watch was a real life person, we really enjoyed watching it again,

next a real treat, not only because it was presented by master wordsmith Sir David Attenborough, but also because it was filmed in close up 3D, who could have thought plants could be so interesting, but in the Kingdom of Plants they were, 'One of the most wonderful things about filming plants is that you can reveal hidden aspects of their lives. You can capture the moment as one plant strangles another, and as they burst into flower. But whilst time-lapse photography allows you to see things that no human being has ever seen before, the added element of 3D takes the audience even further still', quote by Sir David Attenborough,

we rounded off the evening by the last episode of Silent Witness, series 8, Body 21, I really liked this one as it easy to understand, I had already found the salient facts in the first few minuets which surprised Diana as the plot unfolded, I was quite impressed myself! then as it was late for us we were off to bed.
