After Breakfast,

we were out,

shopping at Foodland on Pattaya Central, it is just past what was carefour on the same side of the road as you go towards Sumkivitt Road,

as we were in the area,

almost opposite Foodland there is a small garden centre,

the centre is a collection of several shops, each selling a different type of plant, like these orchids,

 some bromeliads amongst others,

 begonias,

 this stall selling just bromeliads,

 all in flower,

 which ours are not,

so I guess we must be doing some thing wrong,

the view of the stalls from the road,

we then took a walk along the path at the side of the centre,

and found lots of hanging baskets,

different stalls did stretch way back, but all of this has changed, a car park has been made,

beside that what appears to be a karaoke pub has been installed,

 with lots of outdoor seating,

shopping and visit to the garden centre over we returned home, this is what we had gone to Foodland for, dates,

we happened to mention to Nick & Maureen that Diana loves them when we were fishing, it just so happened that the day before Nick & Maureen had noticed that dates were on special offer in Foodland, just 97 baht a box of half a kilo, but then even better news, buy one get one free, so we bought two and received four, bargain of the week!

after a quick shower we were off again, this time to the weekend night market on Thepprasit road, sunset looking towards Jomtien,

just a few wisps of cloud looking inland,

opposite the bar this evening a secondhand clothes stall,

I looked for some more of those plums that we like,

but none were for sale, plenty of durians though,

the slushy stall all ready for action,

 but no customers yet,

 the food aisles busy,

 as was the pet section,

 sunset over the market,

 another stall making drinks,

but with a different selection to chose from,

at the bar we were joined by Nan and Brian's wife Sa,

and of course Brian himself, after saying our goodbyes it was home for us,

where Diana cooked fish & chips with home made coleslaw, delicious, then feet up for some television, Bamazon was again being aired amongst others, then as it was late for us we were off to bed.
