All Made From Memory,

these intricate pieces of pottery,

were made by Hitomi Hosono, a London-based ceramic artist who creates botanical ceramic sculptures, it is not just me who thinks her works are intricately stunning,

she has been selected as the inaugural winner of the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize, a new philanthropic initiative by the French champagne house to celebrate contemporary British craft, each sculpture takes one month to create the mold, three weeks to attach the foliage and up to five months to let it dry, for an in depth look at her work have a look here and scroll down to the second feature.
