I Mentioned Yesterday,

that I always seem to have problems with anything electrical,

what I forgot to mention was that our burglar alarm also decided to go on strike, it appears that there was a problem with the battery, so that was the other electrical thing that went wrong yesterday, the good news was that the burglar alarm company called round and resolved the problem, but back to today as you can see Diana won the Monopoly contest for today, I must try harder tomorrow,

we must be doing something right in the plant department,

as we were leaving to go out I noticed that there were two new flowers on one of the bromeliads,

tonight it was glad rags on as we were going out for a meal,

to Le Bordeaux, which is near to the TukCom Centre,

the tables nicely laid out with plenty of space between dinners,

the restaurant is divided into two sections, we made our way past the well-stocked bar,

 into the second section,

we arrived quite early and were nearly the first customers of the evening, but it soon filled up as it got later,

whilst looking through the menu we were the served with an amuse bouche,

Diana chose the bacon and cheese salad with croĆ»tons,

Mr. Tony opted for smoked salmon,

I went for the stuffed mussels with parsley butter,

after a suitable break beef bourguignon for Mr. Tony,

he had ordered this main course before and found it delicious, so decided to have it again,

one of the ever smiling waiters bought Diana's main course over to the table,

she had decided on a steak,

for myself I had decided lamb chops,

 'Cheers!'

I both Mr. Tony and myself decided against desert and went with a latte coffee,

but not so Diana, she had decided on a desert, in the background Rom the owner had called over to enquire if the meal was up to its usual standards, of course it was, everything we had was absolutely delicious,

then it was time for Diana to tuck into her dessert, chocolate profiteroles,

they looked so nice both Mr. Tony and myself had to have one each,

I managed to sneak this one away from Diana, she asked for it back so I had to give her a spine chilling leer,

 no I was only joking!

I also had first dibs on the chocolate sauce,

we were then given some complementary and chocolates to round off the meal, once again Le Bordeaux excelled themselves with the food, the atmosphere and the staff, you may well have noticed by now that Le Bordeaux is on our regular midweek dining out list of restaurants that we go to, the food is reasonably priced plus there are lots of specials which we do not see elsewhere, so if you fancy a nice relaxed evening out this is the place to try, just one small thing it is closed every Wednesday, we made our way home and after saying our goodbyes to Mr. Tony we watched some of the shows on the Crime and Investigation channel that were being shown on our new cable subscription service, then as it was now nearing midnight we decided it was time for bed.
