Next As It Was Diana's Birthday,

it was her choice for lunch,

so off to Tesco Lotus we went,

to Swensen's for a ice cream lunch,

Diana was spoilt for choice,

but decided on the chocolate special whilst I went for a strawberry tower,

we then made our way to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road, hardly any cloud looking towards Jomtien,

with even less cloud looking inland, but that was going to change later,

we were not quiet sure what this stall was selling opposite the bar this evening,

so off we went looking around the goods that were on offer,

sunset over the market,

we then returned to the bar,

the stall opposite had by now started business, it appears they were selling a skin conditioning cream and other beauty products, I resisted the urge to buy some for me,

we were joined tonight by Brian and Mr. Tony,

after a chat we made our way back home, as we did so the wind increased dramatically, with ominous rain clouds rolling in from the sea,

we made it home just in time for the electricity to fail, so it was out with the trusty gas lamp,

it is quiet a neat bit of kit, we had bought it many years ago when Steve and Kai were staying with us and we went to the floating hotels in Sai Yok National park, being a National park there is no mains electricity, just generators which are switched off at night, hence us buying the gas lamp as the oil ones provided were not that effective,

total blackness looking into the street, plus it had started to rain,

Diana had prepared a feast for us,

smoked salmon on top of pumpernickel bread along with ham, cheese and a hint of mustard sandwiches, accompanied by some sushi, by now the power was back on so we watched some episodes of Pickers then after saying our goodbyes to Mr. Tony we were off to bed.
