Straight On To Today's Post As We Have An Early Start,

we did not do much today,

as it was raining all day, the good news however is that the rain has made the flowers put on a good show, this hibiscus is some 5 inches or so across,

in the evening it was glad rags on as we were going out for a meal,

to Cherry's on Third Road, it is almost opposite what was once the X-Cite disco,

as we arrived freshly baked bread, a tomato dip and cheese straws were placed on the table for us to nibble on,

 first stop the salad bar,

and a great selection to choose from,

 next a selection of starters,

spaghetti carbonara and pizza for Diana,

smoked salmon, prawns and melon wrapped in Parma ham for Mr. Tony and myself,

there are about 18 or so main courses to choose from plus a carvery, barbecue and full selection of vegetables,

Mr. Tony and myself both went for the baked and smoked salmon, I also had some marinated chicken,

 'Cheers!',

after a suitable break we were off to to look at the selection of desserts, there were all these plus an ice cream chest,

Diana decided on a coffee creme and a bowl of ice cream,

whilst Mr Tony and myself went with a fruit cocktail topped with ice cream,

we rounded our meal of with a coffee each, naturally I had a latte coffee, the International buffet at Cherry's takes place every Saturday and Wednesday evening, at just 350 baht per person it represents excellent value for money especially considering the number dishes that are available,

although difficult to see when we left the restaurant it was a quick dash across the car park as it was pouring with rain, then home feet up for a nightcap,

we settled down to watch Futtocks End, Lord Futtock invites a number of guests to his country manor for the weekend although there is no soundtrack as such as no words are spoken, there are numerous sound effects as the guests amuse themselves over the weekend, after saying our goodbyes to Mr Tony we then decided to have an early night, so we were off to bed.
