Off To Get Our Bike Taxed And Tested Today,

but one thing it did need,

 was a new front tyre,

new front tyre and inner tube fitted,

700 baht later and I arrived at the Government test centre, it is situated on the Sumkivitt Road going out of Pattaya towards Bangkok, this is the view looking towards Pattaya,

and looking towards Bangkok, the green sign is for the Bangkok-Pattaya hospital as a guide as to where the test centre is, from memory all motorbikes over 5 years old and cars over 7 years old have to be tested annually, the fee for the test and the tax was 550 baht, the usual things are tested lights, brakes, horn, tyres and exhaust gases, the bike past so I will call back on Monday for the road tax certificate,

the day sort of flew past, so our next stop was to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road, the view looking towards Jomtien,

and inland unfortunately no blue skies tonight as there was slight cloud cover,

although empty at the moment this foot massage will be busy as soon as shoppers start to arrive,

opposite the bar this evening a stall selling clothes the other shoes,

the food aisles as usual quite busy,

not so on the barbecue stall selling salted tilapia,

as I made my way towards the pet section a few weeks ago a T-shirt selling stall had opened up, this week in the next aisle another T-shirt company had opened, but this one selling coloured shirts not white ones as previous stall was still doing,

there were a few customers in the pet section this evening, but no sales so far,

I have not seen these for a long time, in case you were wondering what they are they are hollowed out coconut shells that are used in the breeding of birds, many years ago I used to keep budgerigars and lovebirds and these were what they made their nests in,

 sunset over the market,

looking inland the skies had started to clear,

but it was only temporary as in just a few minutes more cloud had rolled in,

joining us as usual was Brian and Mr Tony,
after we had chatted the evening away we said our goodbyes to Brian and we made our way to the Punch and Judy,

I had to stop at the new doors that had recently been fitted,
our meals arrived, cottage pie for Mr Tony and some Thai food for Diana,

for myself I went with the Friday night 199 baht fish and chip special,

we then made our way home were we watched the second half of Madagascar, a brilliantly made part of the BBC Earth series narrated by master wordsmith Sir David Attenborough, after watching that we said our goodbyes to Mr Tony and then for us we were off to bed.
