Another One Of Those Good Luck Stories,

we like so much,

this one about a Eight-century-old ale jug that was found in an attic, the jug lay undiscovered in the grounds of Kedleston Estate until it was rediscovered in 1862, it then spent another 150 years gathering dust in an attic only to be rediscovered then put up for auction,

now here is the lucky bit, it will go on sale at Hansons Auctioneers in Derbyshire on Saturday 28 September, Mr Hanson, manager of the auction house, said: 'the early English Medieval jug is from the late Norman period and would date to circa 1220, it really is a magical item', if you are interested it is on page 56/57 of the catalogue lot 520, the guide price? between £30,000 and £50,000, lucky or what?
