It Is A Sad Day,

as Steve and Kai are leaving tomorrow,

so we had an early start, there may not seem anything strange in this picture, but in the distance on the far side of the road the whole side of the building is a huge television screen, which helps pass the time as you are waiting for the traffic lights to change,

we decided to drive along Jomtien Beach Road for a place to eat breakfast, we passed a tree trimming operation in readiness for the high season as we drove along beach road,

and this is where we ended up, Cafe Le Mar which is situated just past Soi Chaiapruk,

we had to take a picture outside,

and one of the view from the restaurant,

 the restaurants pick up truck,

which conveniently has a map of it's location on it,

the girls chose a selection of Thai food,

 Steve went for the steak,

whilst I remembering my diet ordered a salmon salad,

after our meal we had a few things to do, it was that time of the month to pay for our Internet connection, so off to the 3BB office,

 now almost deserted,

the whole car park will be full of stalls this evening when the night market comes to town,

Mark called round in the afternoon so we arranged to meet up for some last minuet shopping,

on Second Road at the Made in Thailand shopping mall, it is almost opposite the Central Festival mall, in case you have not been to Made in Thailand there are scores of stalls undercover selling clothes, luggage and souvenirs,

no sooner had we returned than it was time to go to the Therapist night market, the view looking towards Jomtien did not looking very promising with clouds rolling in,

but it was a bit brighter looking inland,

lots of people in the food aisles,

and a few in the pet section,

 sunset over the market,

I always look at this stall,

there are so many combinations to make a drink from,

a dog waits for it's owner to return,

the sun goes down looking inland,

on the way back we called into a friends house where we were shown what we thought was an enormous lime that he grows in his garden, but then on reflection we decide in was a unripened lemon, but it was sill large even for a lemon,

by now it was late, so we decided to eat out, now where shall we chose?

well it had to be the Punch and Judy,

Kai popped out to say her goodbyes to some of her friends,

then when she returned it was time to eat, the girls again ordered Thai food, for Steve cottage pie, the Friday special fish and chips for me, then home feet up a night cap as we watched some television, then for all of us we were off to bed.
