Up Early,

and we were off fishing,

but then we hit a slight problem, I had forgotten my camera! so all of today's pictures were taken by Diana on my Galaxy Note 3,

the good news was that the fishing park had now replaced all of the fishing huts on one side of the lake,

also that the local council had finished the road building, Diana took this picture with the camera set in the panorama mode,

no prizes for guessing, a picture of me,

things were a bit slow, but a shoal of small fry kept swimming past my float,

then the first fish, a keeper,

which in no time at all was on the table, delicious!

we have had huge amounts of rain for the past few weeks, which means that the decking was moved when some of the now saturated bank moved, so that will be repaired I guess in the next few weeks,

then the second fish to me, one to take home,

 which renewed Nick's efforts,

 and he soon landed one,

 another one to take home,

Diana used the camera to take our picture,

although it does not seem it, I am pointing to a huge black cloud that is rolling towards, us but we were by now making a move, the score 2-1 to me,

we went to the our usual place the Mamak Fishing Park,

it is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sumkivitt, over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see on the right the road the fishing park is in almost opposite, follow that for a while and the fishing park is on the left,

we arrived at Nick and Maureen's and noticed one of the aloes  had put up a couple of flower spikes,

 a celebratory beer,

Nick had prepared one of his Panang curries and delicious it was too,

so it was time to tuck in,

Ta-Taa taking a rest from the rigorous of the day,

and how about this for a treat? a tiramisu Cornetto for Diana and cheese and biscuits for myself,

 Diana really enjoyed her treat,

then to the serious side of the evening, Monopoly, which by a total fluke I won, Nick was all set for the big one with hotels on Mayfair and Park Lane, but some how I pulled through with out landing on them, we said our goodbyes to Nick and Maureen and thanked them for looking after us so well, then made a move for home, we watched Wicked Tuna till it finished at midnight, then for us we were off to bed.
