We Have Featured Artists Who Have Used Pyrography Or Pyrogravure Before,

the use of heat to burn wood to create a image,

and this is how it is done, Eben Cavanagh Rautenbach, artistically known as LeRoc, uses a soldering iron to create detailed illustrations on pieces of wood,

when LeRoc first became interested in pyrography, he started drawing with only a lighter, a nail and a pair of pliers, thankfully, his aunt gave him an old soldering iron and he has been hooked ever since,

LeRoc describes his style influences as a mixture of his graffiti background and a wonder of nature, born in South Africa, LeRoc now lives in Scotland with a forest full of inspiration right outside his home. "It's this easy access to nature that keeps me inspired," explains LeRoc, what a talent he really has.
