and ever wonder why sometimes cable delivered services fail,
this could be one of the reasons,
we spotted this piece of street drama on our way to the market,
the thing is when we had finished looking around the Soi Bukaow market and bought our weekly shop at Friendship, on our way home he was still looking for or repairing the problem, luckily as far as we could tell the breakdown or maintenance did not affect us,
back to shopping we parked up in Friendship,
the bike park was packed,
we made our way over the road,
and agreed to meet here if we did not see each other in the market as we both go our separate ways when we are there,
the new Honda shop is now fully up and running, though you can not see the bikes on display as there are so many street vendors blocking the view at the front of the shop, I wonder if they pay Honda for rent and electric?
Soi Bukaow itself did not seem that crowded,
I always give the boiling oil a wide path,
one portion completed,
so another one going in,
more plums for sale, a little smaller and not so expensive as the last ones we bought,
and fresh strawberries too,
the clothes aisle not so crowded as well,
lots more plums for sale,
'next please!',
pineapples in season too,
remember what they say, all that glitters is not gold, especially in the market!
the bulb seller was back again, the last lot we bought did not flower, but I am guessing they will next season,
a few nice dresses for Diana,
I was soon into the plant section,
it was so hot the plants needed a drink,
the water lilies had their water in the bowl they were in,
one of the mobile food sellers making her rounds,
one of the last in the line of plant sellers,
more amaryllis in flower,
I must remember to give ours a good talking to when I get back home,
it must be the season for orchids there were many for sale every where,
another customer for the mobile seller,
the product looked like persevered fruits,
a quick look at the cactus,
and some small garden ornaments and I was finished looking around,
as I made my way past the pet stall I bumped into Diana, so rather than have a coffee we went back to Friendship to finish our shopping there,
I waited outside as we only needed a few things and took a look at the building work going on,
but other than a few more wooden supports to hold the next floor nothing much else seems to have happened, arriving home Jay called round for a coffee and a chat he had forgotten a few things yesterday he was going to drop off, after saying our farewells we watched a few from The Chase, then had our evening meal,
as well as my salad tonight Diana made another delicious chicken and sweetcorn soup with fresh garlic in the middle of the cross of chicken,
it was then feet up for The Book of Eli, a post apocalyptic story of survival of both man and faith, we both enjoyed the film but some critics seem to pan it, another one from Midsomer Murders was next followed by a few from Bones, then for us we were off to bed.
