and you thought fish were fun!

well Jared Muralt’s did when aged 5 years old his mother took him to India, he drew pictures of the boats bringing to shore their deep sea catches and the fish themselves, fast forward he is now aged 32 years old and based in Bern, he then started to draw pictures of the deep sea angler fish,

at the rate of one a day, he soon had enough material to publish his bi-lingual work Tiefseeangler / Deep Sea Anglers, although the book is not a scientific text the drawings are extremely accurate,

I did know that there were several different species of angler fish, with their strange breeding habits, but I had no idea there were so many, a really strange number of creatures from the deep.
