I Was Not Quiet Sure What I Was Looking At,

they looked like mushrooms but not ones I had seen before,

but they were, the pictures were taken in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales in Australia and are sub-tropical fungi, but many were also taken in Victoria and Tasmania and are classified as temperate fungi,

 the pictures were taken by photographer Steve Axford,
