We Were Out Shopping Again,

this time to Big C Extra,

 it is situated on Pattaya Central Road,

 after parking the bike we made our way to the front entrance,

 just to the right of it there is an aquatic shop,

 with a nice display of fish and equipment,

 and next to that a foot spa,

 well we could not go past a Sewnsens with out stopping, it was chocolate month so a chocolate volcano for Diana,

 and a chocolate and strawberry ice cream for me, called a Colt Tower,

diet starts tomorrow! we had called here to make an appointment for the filters on our water purifier to be changed, it should be done every 6 moths or so but I have to admit it has been more than a year since they were last changed, the company we used has a stall just inside of the car park entrance, the one near the escalators that go to the upstairs food hall, we were given a time of 4.00 in the afternoon, so on with our shopping, two steaks for our romantic Saturday night bar-b-q and we also treated ourselves to some New Zealand lamb chops for our next at home Sunday lunch, then we were off again,

 to KPK Foods,

 the address is 202 / 136-7 Pattaya Klang Plazza Soi U Mai Moo 9, just a short distance away from Big C Extra,

 mission accomplished 6 kilos of Cumberland sausages, those will keep us going for the next few months, the Gorge Foreman will be busy soon!

 the technician arrived spot on at 4.00, so work started,

the bad news was that we needed not only the 3 filters changing but also the membrane and a couple of other things, so the bill came to 3,270 baht, but it is so much more covenant than having to carry water bottles around all of the time, also I use 3 liters of water a day for the Venus fly traps as they will die if you give them water with calcium in it, so it would cost a fortune to use bottled water for them every day,

we had just settled down to watch Take on the Twister after our evening meal when we had a power cut, after some time the power did not come back on so we knew it would be a long one,

so out with the gas lamp, we sat outside when Barry walk past so we had a few glasses of wine and talked the night away, the good news was that after a couple of hours the power came back, so after saying our goodbyes we watched a couple from LA Law then for us as it was near 01.00 in the morning we were off to bed.
