The Gout Saga Continues,

the good news is that it is so much better,

I am still not walking properly, but sitting normally is now nearly doable, so I am pretty confidante I will be back to normal in the next few days, so tap dancing lessons next week! again right foot in the air most of the day, we watched a couple of movies, first the 1953 version of The War of the Worlds, as I mentioned before the only slight problem was that the book was set in the UK, the film in America, back to the book it was set in Horsell Common near Woking as it happens, the reason Wells chose Horsell Common was that when he did a lecture in Woking he found that he was very poorly receive so the book being set there was his idea of payback time,

The Picture of Dorian Gray, the book written by Oscar Wilde was next but the 2009 version, a young man sells his soul to keep his youthful looks, he does not age but a painting that he keeps hidden away ages in his stead, as his friends age and he does not they know something is wrong, but will anyone guess what? one thing you may not know about Oscar is that although he was a proficient and versatile writer, Wilde only wrote one novel during his lifetime, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray,' published in 1891,

to round the evening of Bones series 8, we got as far as episode 9, which gave us both a headache, the whole episode was set so that you were seeing the events through the victims eyes, so the camera was constantly on the move as the skull of the victim was moved and examined, not enjoyable at all, so at the midnight hour we were then off to bed.
