We Had A Quiet Day,

but in the evening we were out,

so it was glad rags on,

and we were off to the Thai Garden Resort,

 for their buffet,

 as you might expect,

a huge variety of meats along with smoked salmon and so many mixed salads with sweetcorn, chicken and boiled eggs as their base, plus a real bonus for me, beetroot,

tonight we were the guest of Barry Kenyon MBE, who I am sure many will recognise from his time at the British Embassy since 1997, and became the resort’s first honorary consul in June 2005,

 on to the main courses,

there were 12 or so to chose from,

 Diana's first three selected,

a nice touch here for a romantic evening is that there is a group of musicians to serenade you at your table, which seem only to call by if you ask them to, so you are not bothered by them if the serenade is not required,

Diana was really taken with this,

a pancake maker, with all of the sauces to go with it,

just press the 'Go' button and in a moment a fresh pancake lands on your plate,

meanwhile as Diana went for her second set of pancakes Barry and myself settled down to another main course,

then on to desserts, plenty of fresh fruit,

jelly's,

and did I mention cakes?

it looks like they are all Diana's but we had a spoon each, we then made a move for home and after a nightcap thanked Barry for treating us so well, many thanks indeed, I forgot to mention during the day I made a quick video of the new fish we had purchased and the yabbies,

but back to the evening, we watched a couple from Inspector Morse, then as the midnight hour came and went we were off to bed.
